Dear Education Abroad Alumni,
It's nice to meet you, my name is Megan and I have recently taken over as Alumni Coordinator in the Education Abroad office. While I am new to the Alumni Coordinator
role, I joined the Ed Abroad team almost two years ago. I work as a Program Manager for programs in Oceania (my personal favorite region). I'm excited to be your new point-person for all things alumni! Prior to my time in Ed Abroad, I lived in Minnesota earning my master's degree in Leadership in Student Affairs from the University of St. Thomas. Originally a proud Wisconsinite, I've spent time living in Sydney, Australia; Kumasi, Ghana; and completed my own study abroad in Kampala, Uganda.
As you'll learn in this newsletter, we have lots of exciting things happening in Education Abroad. Our numbers of students being sent abroad is higher than pre-pandemic levels! Our alumni are doing incredible things (including planning some fun reunions), our office creating exciting new sustainability initiatives, and our staff keeps growing.
