After COVID-19 significantly impacted our Ed Abroad programs, we’re delighted to announce that the world has largely reopened and our students are able to study abroad again in countries that had been closed to them, sometimes for over 2 years. 	Alumni Spotlight Interview with Education Abroad Alumni Dennis Blum and Russ Feldman Interview By Madi Gentry, Education Abroad Marketing & Outreach Intern Last month, 10 Education Abroad Alum celebrated their 50th anniversary at the place where it all started: the University of Bordeaux. Madi was lucky enough to interview two of these Alum and gain a little more insight into their experience abroad and the impact it had on their lives following. Dennis Blum and Russ Feldman, two incredibly successful individuals, shared an experience in Bordeaux that would ultimately make them lifelong friends. 	Education Abroad Alumna wins CU Alumni Award 2022 Education Abroad alumna Hayley Leibson received a CU Alumni Recognition Award. The Alumni Recognition Award honors CU Boulder alumni who have demonstrated extraordinary leadership, commitment, dedication and service to the advancement of the university and its mission. Hayley studied at the University of Sussex (Brighton, England) with our exchange program in spring 2014 and traveled with the Global RAP in summer 2013. 	A Summer Internship in South Africa By Catherine Vasquez, Education Abroad Marketing & Outreach Intern Cat completed the following program: Global Internships: Cape Town, South Africa (summer) this past summer as a GO Scholar recipient She was pleased to share the reason behind her choice of location and the lessons she learned working abroad as an intern!
