Allie manages a number of programs and is part of the Europe & Middle East Regional Advising Team. She is also the manager for all general Education Abroad Marketing, Communications, & Outreach. Allie also acts as the Institutional Coordinator for the Peace Corps Prep program, and supervises the Marketing & Outreach Interns (who manage all EA social media accounts).

Allie graduated from CU Boulder in Broadcast Production with a certificate of International Media. As a student, Allie journeyed on Semester at Sea, circumnavigating the globe and stopping in 12 countries over the course of 108 days on a floating campus. She also interned at Canterbury Television in Christchurch, New Zealand. These travels sparked her interest in global comparative education and experiential learning. After graduation, she spent 2 1/4 years of service in the Peace Corps: Philippines, where she lived with a host family in a nipa hut and worked as a public high school English teacher. She was also very involved with gender development initiatives (GLOW Camps), environmental sustainability projects, and founded DNHS Glee Club. Allie is now enjoying being back at CU Education Abroad, having had the opportunity to study, volunteer, or work in over 20 different countries across the globe.

You can watch her TEDxCU Talk on the Filipino notion of "Bahala Na" here.
