CU student in Aix en Provence receives French Honors Appreciation Award
During Spring 2022, CU student Sidney “Sid” Dispas studied in the French Honors Program at the Institute for American Universities (IAU) in Aix-en-Provence. The French Honors Program is designed for students with demonstrated advanced-level French and are interested in a comprehensive linguistic and cultural immersion program. As a French and History major, Sid stated in his application that he wanted to further develop his French in a “challenging and immersive” academic setting and “experience southern urban French culture.” It looks like he accomplished his goals and more! On May 13, 2022, he received IAU’s French Honors Appreciation Award during IAU’s Closing Ceremony. The event recognizes graduates of the American College of the Mediterranean (ACM) masters-level programs as well as the academic achievements of select IAU study abroad students. Félicitations Sid!!
