Thanks for checking out the Global Buffs Gazette! This newsletter is to help keep our program alumni, on-campus champions, and Education Abroad supporters informed of all that is happening in Education Abroad. In this issue, I can't wait for you to meet Abigail, one of our recent abroad alumni who studied abroad in Argentina, and Brooklyn, a global seminar alum and multiple award winner through the College of Engineering and Applied Science! You'll read about one of our newest initiatives, the Explorer Scholarship and why we've highlighted Latin America as our Region of the Year. You'll discover Education Abroad students are some pretty talented photographers as you scroll through the stunning photo contest winning photos (and see other photo contest finalist photos sprinkled throughout this newsletter). You'll also get to meet our peer advising team; we couldn't do our work without these incredible students! Finally, with our record-high numbers for spring 2025, Education Abroad was recently featured in multiple local news stories that we've shared in our newsletter.
