Forever Buffs Spotlight: Impacting Humanity Abroad
One of our own alumni Maggie Grout was featured on Forever Buffs Spotlight: Impacting Humanity Abroad. She is Founder and CEO at Thinking Huts
Maggie attended two of our programs: CIEE England: London Open Campus in Fall 2019 & Exchange program at University of Sussex in Spring 2020
Maggie Grout (Bus’21) seeks to increase access to education with humanitarian-driven technology solutions. Adopted from China, Maggie knew from a young age that she wanted to dedicate her life to finding solutions that tackle the global education crisis. She founded Thinking Huts in 2015 to chase the vision of increasing access to education infrastructure by building 3D printed schools in partnership with communities where the need is greatest. Because only 5% of firms are led by a female CEO, Maggie seeks to challenge the stereotypes and close the global opportunity gap. View the video here...
