I really enjoyed the program. Everything is coordinated so that you truly live the life of a Londoner.

The courses were very simple and did not take up much of my time. London is now one of my favorite cities in the world after visiting it and I can not wait to go back. If you look forward to interacting with locals then you would go to Imperial College and take part in their events because you will be associated with that school.

The courses were hit and miss, it depends on what you want to study. The location of the program was perfect, it was located right in central London and made it very easy to explore the city.

I absolutely loved my study abroad experience. The location was better than I could imagine. We were in central London mostly North West. Using the Underground Subway system was the easiest and most efficient way of getting around and our housing was located extremely close to a station. The academics were challenging but not overwhelming where I could not enjoy the beauty and adventure the city had to offer. The main thing about my academics that I did not enjoy was the length of the classes. Each class was 3 and a half hour long once a week. The once a week aspect was okay but having to sit in a classroom for over three hours always stressed my brain and made me lose interest fast. Through this program the only way to interact with locals was to go out and meet them on your own. We had access to the local University and took full advantage of it. Through the program we were housed and in school with all american study abroad students. It would have been nice to attend school with other british students. This program took us on many excursions in London and around Europe. They built in activities within our classes to get us out and experience the city we chose to live in.

London is a city with much to offer. It has a thriving night life and many things to do during the day. The location is good if you wish to travel around Europe and the UK. CAPA is a good program although its "campus" is very small for all the students being there at once and it has terrible internet access.

The program offered a wide variety of courses taught by intelligent professors who understand the traveling agendas of their students. The school's location is in a great location, steps away from Hyde Park, Kensington Gardens, two tube stops, and multiple affordable restaurants and grocery stores. The housing locations, however, are on average a 20-30 minute comment via tube to the school. My location was a 30 minute commute yet some other students were walking distance to the school. How the housing locations are chosen could be made a little more clear. Little interaction with local students unless you take advantage of the associate membership to the Imperial College Union.

Courses were more rigorous than expected, but the teachers were very good. The location was great! There is always something to do or explore in London, you'll never, ever be bored. Because this isn't an exchange program, you have to work a little harder to meet locals. The locals were very nice, though more reserved than Americans. This program was great for exploring, as they always hosted events and walking tours. This was especially helpful for the first few weeks when you might be a little more nervous to explore on your own!

I loved the staff at CAPA. I met my favorite professor of all time while out there, at we still remain in contact. I always felt comfortable approaching any member of staff at CAPA for any kind of help I needed, and bonded sincerely with everyone there. They all made clear they understand what a leap of faith study abroad is, and all did their best to be accessible and helpful whenever and however possible.

Courses and teachers were all very helpful and my courses did a great job of incorporating our new location into our courses.

The courses were nice because they were catered to learning about and exploring London. All of my teachers were British, so it was nice to get a local perspective on things and be able to compare and contrast our views.

My British Pop Culture class had an excursion every other week and this was one of the coolest things about my program. We would learn about something in the classroom, and then go see it playing out on the streets of London. We visited places like Brighton (sea-side town), Soho (large gay community), Bricklane (large Bangledeshi community now being taken over by Hispters), and Shoreditch (tons of street art, including Banksy's!). It was so awesome to see the classroom intersecting with real life.

The courses met only once a week, and were much more focused on experiential learning. This meant leaving the classroom frequently for field studies. The location of the campus and housing is very close to everything one would want to see in London, and is accessible easily via public transportation. Living in neighborhoods with a diverse local population meant that I really felt like I was seeing London from a local's perspective.

I absolutely loved my courses especially British Pop Culture class. The location was amazing, London is my favorite city in the world. I didn't do an internship, but I still was able to immerse myself in the culture and meet locals. Greatest experience ever.

There were so many opportunities to get involved and a wide range of activities to participate in as well.

Courses were great. The way they taught was very hands on and helpful. I loved all the out-of-class adventures and the location of the campus. Overall it was my favorite semester in college and not only because I was in London.
