Our office has continued to grow. This summer we hired program managers. We have also hired a new cohort of Advisors and Marketing & Outreach Interns! Please help us in welcoming them to the team.

Meet Megan:

Megan is thrilled to join the Education Abroad office! She works as a Program Manager for programs in Australia and New Zealand and is the Participant Communications Coordinator for the office. Megan studied abroad in Kampala, Uganda. She has lived in Ghana and Australia (and is an alum of one of our study abroad partners, the University of Sydney!) Most recently, Megan completed her master's degree in Leadership in Student Affairs from the University of St. Thomas in Minneapolis, MN. Megan has traveled to Oceania, Africa, South America and Europe. She can't wait to help you get abroad!

 

 


 








Kayla
 
Meet Kayla 
Kayla is a new Program Manager in the Education Abroad office with programs all over the world, including CU in D.C. and international internships. She is a CU Boulder alum with a B.A. in Classics. She studied abroad in Perugia, Italy, where she took classes in Etruscan, Roman, and Medieval art and archaeology and loved every second of it. Kayla is excited to help CU students have the experience of a lifetime abroad!

Other Announcements from the Office of International Education 

International Student and Scholar Services is excited to announce that our applications are open for the International Student Peer Mentor program. New international students can apply to be mentees. Students who have completed at least 2 semesters at CU Boulder may apply to be peer mentors.  
 
International Student Peer Mentor Application & Deadline 
Are you looking to make a positive difference in someone’s life, create new friendships, and build leadership and intercultural skills? Then the International Peer Mentor Program is looking for you! The International Peer Mentor Program connects current CU Boulder students with new international students to ease their transition to CU Boulder, promote meaningful interactions between current students and new international students, develop intercultural communication skills, and strengthen community among students. Spring 2023 International Student Peer Mentor applications are open from November 1, 2022 to December 19, 2022 at 11:59 p.m. MST
