Marianne Holbert, director of Global Seminar: Urban Site Analysis and Design (Rome, Italy), and Anja Lange, director of Global Seminar: Self-Awareness & Images of the Other (Xi'an, China), have won the 2017 Marinus Smith Award “for making a significant, positive impact on the lives of the students and their families.”  They are among the twenty-five staff and faculty members who received this award this April.
