Coordinator for Diversity & Access

Adilene is the Access & Inclusion Coordinator for Education Abroad, and also a program manager for the Spain & Latin America regions. She is a Mexican-American, First Gen CU alum. She earned her B.S. in Business Administration with an emphasis in Talent Management, and a Certificate in Business Leadership (2021). Prior to graduating she had the privilege of studying in Italy through the CAPA Florence program (2020). After graduation she continued her travels and pursued a teaching certificate in Madrid, Spain, where she spent a year teaching English. While there she visited the United Kingdom, France, Portugal, and other cities in Spain. 

Adilene manages:

• Global Opportunity (GO) Scholar Program. Working with first-year students from diverse backgrounds with financial need 
• Gilman Scholarship Advisor and Liaison for students currently receiving Pell grants as part of their federal financial aid. 
• Global Intensive: SASC Constructions of Knowledge (Santiago & Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic)
• CIEE Spain Programs
• All of Latin America (except Global Internships and Global Seminars)
